Mission Statement: Div 100 MMQ was organized to provide financial and volunteer support for Rady Children's Hospital. |
||||
Division 100 consists of the Kiwanians from Division 11, 21, 31 and 37. For many years they have joined together to form the unofficial and very unique, Division 100 in San Diego County.
The dues are $120.00 a year. (Plus a $50 administrative fee for the first year only.) Board Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:30PM at Rady Children's Hospital, Administration building, Room 113. Everyone is invited to particpate in our Board meetings. Club Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 4:30PM at Rady Children's Hospital. Room 113 of the Admnnistration Building at 3020 Children's Way San Diego, CA 92123. Parking is validated at the meeting The main projects of the club are the Radiothon in February and Miracle Mile of Quarters Sunday in May. Last year the Radiothon raised $850,000...this year we are aiming for 1 Million Dollars. The Club also hosts Miracle Makers and attends the Grand Gala (also in June). This
club breaks new ground for service clubs by combining the forces of
four Divisions of Kiwanis to focus on one common goal—support
of the Miracle Mile of Quarters Program, all funds going to Rady Children’s
Hospital. Division 100 is comprised of Divisions 11,21,31, and 37 and
encompasses all of San Diego County including one club in Tijuana. The Division 100 Club will meet monthly with no specific attendance requirement. The mission is to provide volunteer and financial support to Rady Children’s Hospital and it’s satellite Chadwick Centers. The main events are the Miracle Mile of Quarters Sunday in June and the Radiothon which each year raises early one million dollars for Rady Children’s Hospital. We also reach out to support the various fundraisers from other clubs in San Diego County that benefit Rady’s Children Hospital. This is fun club. Many Kiwanians have mad it their 2nd club home. We also encourage participation by other service oriented members of the community. If you know of someone who might be interested, please contact Club Membership Chairman, Shelley Johnson-Labertew at 619-295-1541. Letters of invitation are available by clicking on the links above.
